and my feelings about him

this kid has lived the worst life, and still he’s such a fucking badass motherfucker. Even before he finally gets his chance to shine he’s just the sweetest, loveliest kid. Anyone in Neville’s position would have a right to behave like his life sucks because for him, well - it fucking does. But no. Neville is still the most loyal, the bravest, the kindest, even though his ability impedes him. He is constantly treated like shit (even, to a small extent, by his friends) and he never acts hard-done-by, or uses his misfortune as an excuse. He’s a real hero. 

I’ve loved Neville from the beginning. Even though he was very shy, and quiet and awkward. You could see just beneath the surface there was a lion. He is proof you don’t have to look brave to be brave. You just have to stand up, when there is something worth fighting for. That is why he is my favorite Gryffindor. I was so afraid they were going to take his moment from him in the final movie. And I’m so glad he was able to shine like the true lion he is.
